From the first steps envisioning Land of Illusions as an Art & Cultural Hub, identifying an ideal platform (social VR Sansar), and making watercolor sketches to the final production materializing our visions, this long journey has greatly enriched our artistic experience.
Lily Honglei
US-based artist collective Lily Honglei conceived the idea of expanding their Land of Illusion project in metaverse Second Life to a Social VR platform during the COVID-19 lockdowns in late 2020. This conception of a global art & cultural hub has become a reality thanks to the team’s tireless efforts and support from fellow artists & organizations.
Upon its completion, Land of Illusions (VR) has successfully fulfilled the promise connecting artists, art professionals and institutions across continents through creativity and collaborations. With a rapidly expanding network, Land of Illusions (VR) has inspired artists and institutions alike to join the dynamic community with their innovative art and cultural projects.
